A ceramic coating provides self cleaning abilities. Due to the slickness of the paint, rain is just enough to wash away most of the dirt and grime sitting on top of the paint. You will still need to wash your vehicle to maintain the coating, but the process will be much easier and satisfying.Â

- Let your car go 3+ months without a wash

What You SHOULD Do

Do Ceramic Coatings Prevent Scratches?
It significantly reduces the chance of minor scratches but is not scratch proof.
Ceramic coatings add a layer of hardness over your paint that provides resistance against light swirl marks and minor surface contaminants. However they are not scratch proof — sharp objects, heavy abrasion, or rock chips can still cause damage. Think of it as a sacrificial layer that takes the brunt of everyday wear so your paint underneath stays protected.
How Long Do Ceramic Coatings Last?
Our Coatings typically last 1 - 5+ Years
With proper care and maintenance, our ceramic coatings can last anywhere from 1 to 5 years depending on the package chosen and how well the coating is maintained. Avoiding automatic car washes, using pH neutral products, and keeping up with regular maintenance details are the biggest factors in maximising the life of your coating.
Why Does Paint Correction Come Before the Coating?
To provide the best possible result
A ceramic coating is highly transparent, meaning it will lock in any existing scratches, swirl marks, or imperfections underneath it. Paint correction ensures your paint is in the best possible condition before the coating is applied, so the final result is a deep, flawless finish rather than a glossy layer over hidden defects.
Can I Wash My Car After A Ceramic Coating?
Yes, But We Recommend You Wait At Least 7 Days
We recommend avoiding washing your car for at least 7 days after application to allow the coating to fully cure. After that, hand washing with a pH neutral shampoo is the best way to maintain your coating. Automatic car washes with brushes or harsh chemicals should be avoided entirely as they can degrade the coating over time and void any warranty.Â
