Welcome to JC Detailing. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our Site or before booking a service.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

By using JC Detailing, you automatically agree to comply with our Terms and Conditions. 

 

1. General Information

This website is operated by JC Detailing, a mobile car detailing service based in Brisbane, Australia. The Site is designed to provide information about our services, showcase examples of our work, and allow visitors to make contact or service enquiries.

All references to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to JC Detailing. References to “you” or “your” refer to any user, customer, or visitor to the Site.

 

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Site.

You must not:

  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers.

  • Use the Site for any fraudulent, unlawful, or misleading purpose.

  • Copy, distribute, or modify any content from the Site without written permission

 

3. Service Enquiries and Bookings

At this time, the Site is intended for general enquiries only. You may contact JC Detailing via the enquiry form, email, or phone number provided.

Quotes, bookings, and confirmations will be handled directly through communication with JC Detailing. Any quotes provided are estimates only and subject to inspection of the vehicle. 

When booking a service outside of the JC Detailing Service Area, we do incur an additional $25 call out fee on top of the fee to travel to the edge of the service area. 

When Booking a detail on a minivan, JC Detailing adds a small surcharge on to our ‘large’ size to accomodate for the added complexity and size of the job. 

When Booking on a weekend, JC Detailing charges a $10 surcharge for Saturday’s and $15 for Sunday work. 

 

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you have made a confirmed booking directly with JC Detailing, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee at our discretion.

  • JC Detailing reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

 

5. Multi-Vehicle booking discounts

We do offer discounts for customers who book multiple vehicles (2+) in for a detail in a day. This discount is the removal of any travel fees that would have been included in the quote. 

If a quote is approved and a job is schedule for a booking with 2+ vehicles, then we arrive on the day (or are told day of) that one or more of the vehicles booked in will not be there, we STILL CHARGE for the absent vehicles due to the scheduled time and labour we have set aside to service your vehicles. 

Customers who are local to the service area of JC Detailing (areas such as Tingalpa, Wynnum, Gumdale and Chandler) will instead receive a discount off the total price as a travel fee would not have been included in the job cost. 

JC Detailing has the right to determine this discount for each quote. 

6. Liability and Vehicle Condition

JC Detailing takes every precaution to ensure quality and care while working on your vehicle. However:

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or wear on any vehicle.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by vehicle age, poor condition, or manufacturer defects.

  • You acknowledge that detailing results may vary depending on vehicle condition, materials, and previous treatments.

  • Signing consent for ENGINE BAY DETAIL means you agree we are not responsible for any damages to mechanical or electrical functions. 

All vehicles are serviced with the customer’s consent, and JC Detailing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including logos, images, text, graphics, and layout—is the property of JC Detailing unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or distribute any material without our prior written permission.

 

8. Privacy and Data Handling

We value your privacy. Any personal information you provide through this Site (such as name, phone number, email or address) will be used solely for communication, quotes, or scheduling purposes and will not be shared. 

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law. For more information, please refer to our [Privacy Policy] .

 

9. Gift Cards

JC Detailing digital gift cards are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash; they may be used for any eligible service subject to availability and service area limits, require the unique card code at time of booking, cannot be replaced if lost or stolen without proof of purchase, and any unused balance after expiry is forfeited, with JC Detailing reserving the right to reject any card suspected of fraud or unauthorised use.

 

10. Maintenance detail loyalty 

JC Detailing provides customer with a ‘get every 5th maintenance detail for free’ for loyal customers. Exclusions apply*

If the vehicle requires addition work on the 5th detail, surcharges may apply if extra care/time is needed to detail the vehicle. 

As outlined, customers will receive offers to exclusive offers and discounted rates. The following services are included as 10% discountable services: Headlight Restoration – Leather Conditioning – Steam Cleaning – Engine Bay Detailing – Trim Restoration – Fabric Extraction – Clay Bar Service. 

The following services allow up to 5% discounted rates for loyal customers: Paint Correction – Ceramic Coating

If a pre-exsisting customer receives a ceramic coating, the ‘free exterior details’ are then discounted from the next maintenance details at a rate of 20% discounts. The number of discounted details is outlined in our table of comparison for the ceramic coating packages. 

Each Maintenance detail needs to be within the 0-12 week period to receive the loyalty rewards. Any details outside of the period will reset the count on your maintenance rewards. (Unless outlined otherwise by JC Detailing directly) 

Our prices vary for maintenance details between 0-6 weeks and 6-12 weeks. Surcharges may apply to both definitions as required per job. 

5th free detail includes a maintenance ONLY, anything else will be charged as per usual.
